Tennessee State Reveals All-Black Uniforms For Homecoming

Tennessee State University (3-2) unveiled their new all-black uniforms, created by Under Armour, for the homecoming game against Norfolk State University (2-3).

Coach Eddie George has the Tigers more competitive in 2023. Saturday's clash at Nissan Stadium versus the Spartans brings new challenges for the TSU team. "We have to stay diligent on the little things and not forgetting what got us here," George told reporters. "Now it's homecoming. It's a lot going on campus, it's parties, it's this, a lot of distractions, a lot of temptation. So that's not for us. We got to put in the work each and every day and realize our goals at hand."

In the BoxtoRow Coaches Poll for Week 6, the Tigers were tied at No. 6 with Hampton University. In the BoxtoRow Media Poll, TSU did not rank but received honorable mention votes. If Tennessee State defeats Norfolk State, it would boost Coach George's team - in the polls and their confidence.

George ended with comments on his team, saying, "We have to get better each and every week. We should not be the same team that we were last week. By the end of this month, we should be better moving forward towards a bigger role."

The Norfolk State at Tennessee State game will kick off at 5 PM CT in Nissan Stadium.
