Flyers=Resilient

Flyers pulled off a win last night, and now may be getting back their 2 top defenders, timonen and coburn, they still need to play three really tough games to get to the cup, but i'm becoming optimistic, nothing is over until we decide it is, who's with me?

I HATE U PHILLY FANS CAUSE U DONT THINK BEFORE U SPEAK AND WHEN U DO TALK IT'S SUCH B.S. U BEAT A PENGUINS TEAM THAT BEAT THEMSELF. U WONDER WHY PEOPLE GET ON U SOOO MUCH. C A SMART SPORTS FAN WILL STAND BEHIND THEIR TEAM BUT THEY WILL ALSO GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE BUT U SILLY PHILLY FANS NEVER DO BUT WHO CAN BLAME U CAUSE UR ALL A BUNCH OF GRUMPY WHINNING LOSERS! THE PENS WILL ELIMINATE UR SORRY BUTTS SUNDAY AND U CAN SIT BACK AND WATCH THE REAL CITY OF PA WIN THE CUP BABY! THE CITY OF CHAMPIONS THE STEEL CITY NOT THE FAIRY CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE! HAHAHA!

I am with them all the way... We need one win at a time..!!!! WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM!!!!!

LETS DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they bounce back and force a game 7, I will agree they are resilient. Until then, it is just 1 win in a best of 7-series.

they are just a resilient team, i know ur a pens fan, and havent watched this team all year, but they were pronounced dead multiple times this year and came back, im not saying theyre gonna win 4 straight, but its not over

The Penguins are also a model of resiliency if you look at how they battled through injuries to key players to came out on top of the Atlantic. I will admit that I didn't follow the Flyers through the season much....

i understand that but that doesnt define resiliency, and the penguins were never pronounced dead this year, but no matter the outcome today, the flyers had a great year

I am a Flyers fan since birth, I watch games out of market (live in DC) via Dtv and love it, even last year when they were hard to watch. I had so much energy going into the Pens series but watching games 1,2,3 took a lot of the wind out of my sails - not that I am throwing in the towel, but just that it seems such an impossibility with the injuries & level of play, mistakes, etc... We aren't on Pittsburgh's level, although we can play with them and have the opportunities to win if we would just play better. Mistakes, turnovers, sitting back waiting for things to happen, you just can't do that against a team like Pitt. I think game 4 was a fun game to watch for the fans & it ended our season on a high note, fights & all ... but the team now has to go to the Igloo on Sunday and face the music. Our season is cooked, no way we are winning 3 in a row. The Pens want to win this series at home, so they took their foot off the gas. Sorry Bluto, I want to side with you badly but the Pens are going to crash the Delta's toga party on Sunday afternoon. Neidermeyer!!!!!!!!

were a different team if we get our defense back, get your head up

Hate to say I told me/you so but we just weren't there all season really. Giving up 2 goal leads left and right, we were lucky toget this far. Caps series was great, but the Caps deserved to win. Montreal series was awesome, we deserved it. Pens series... we were so badly overmatched it wasn't funny. Reminded me of the Red Wings 97 series. We get so damn close and then... heartache. Like watching Lindros get knocked out in the Devils series, watching the LIghtning skate circles around us in 04, and even back to 85 / 87 vs the Oilers. Although we did go from last place to the Conference Finals, so I guess we should be pleasedw.the performance...but as a Flyers fan, the expectation is always high and to say I am satisfied with our results this year is far from the truth. We need to improve. Where was Briere, Vaclav, where was our offense??? How are we going to replace Gange? Many questions for the offseason. The Flyers are a club with a very rich history of excellence, but the time is come for this franchise to hoist it - prediction from me is 2010 cup. Go Flyers.

you are wrong about the caps series, we deserved to win, we just got hurt at the wrong time, stop being such a debbie downer

Looks like we may have Kimo back!!!!
