Kings' Jonathan Quick among goaltenders drawing trade interest?

Jonathan Quick has spent his entire 14-year career with the Los Angeles Kings. However, the veteran netminder is reportedly a trade candidate this season.

According to NHL.com's Kevin Weekes, Quick is among several goaltenders drawing trade interest from teams seeking depth in the blue paint.

Quick has appeared in just 12 games this season and has taken more of a backseat role to 26-year-old Cal Petersen, who is 5-6-4 this season.

Quick is 6-4-2 with a 2.87 goals-against average and .898 save percentage. Although he's well past his prime, the 35-year-old is still a better option than many goaltenders in the NHL.

He's a two-time Stanley Cup champion and has a career 2.40 GAA and .913 SV%. However, Quick's cap hit might deter teams from trading for him. He's under contract through the 2022-23 campaign with a cap hit of $5.8 million each season.
