Is this a preview to Beijing?

Once again, Portugals' Vanessa Fernandes spanked the field at the European Triathlon Championships. She has been a roll for quite some time and certainly that has to boost her confidence as the Olympic months roll around. It does seem reasonable that other gold medal hopefuls in Beijing should be thinking about how to 'flatten' her legs with team tactics on the bike. Still, I don't know that we will see enough country loyality to see athletes sacrific themselves on the bike for the chance to try and neutralize Fernandes.
