Bay to Breakers won by Kenyans
San Francisco's famous footrace welcomed over 60,000 participants to the 97th running of the Bay to Breakers today. The 12k race featured amazing elite runners and usual contingent of scantilly clad, inebriated freaks, wacked out weirdos and of course half naked dudes and chics.
The race was won by Kenyan nationals, John Korir (34:24) and Lineth Chepkurui (39:22). First Americans across the line were Steve Sundell (36:21) of Redwood City, Calif and Palo Alto's Kathleen Trotter ( 42:13).
