Fernandes Sets Record for All-time Career ITU Triathlon Wins

Vanessa Fernandes of Portgual won her 6th consecutive Madrid ITU World Cup triathlon today. The 22 year old also set the record for the most career ITU World Cup wins having accumulated 20 first place finishes. As is typical, Fernandes was in position to exit T2 in the lead and she never looked back on the 10k run.
