But since Affliction, Elite XC, and other MMA orgs are establishing legitimacy the UFC has lost some of its bargaining power. The UFC could possibly see lower profit margins since MMA fans now have options. The UFC did have a good run when they removed Pride Fighting Championships from the picture. If they want another run at distant first they're going to have to look into another acquisition.
