Red Sox fan tries to jinx Yankees by burying Sox jersey in new stadium

Pretty funny article here about how intense the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry really is. I'm hoping it's a true story and the Yankees won't ever win again...

The Thrilla goes off for 25 boards!

Joel "the Thrilla" Przybilla went off against the L.A. Clippers and helped the Blazers win back to back games. His 25 rebounds are a career best and went along with his 14 points. LaMarcus Aldridge also had a great couple of games with back-to-back double doubles. Rip City is alive and well!

Tiger actually is human, loses first tournament of the year

This is the first time since Sept. 2007 that Tiger didn't win a tournament he was playing in. He has been downright dominant since then and had some people talking about a "perfect season". It's scary how good this guy really is...

T-Wolves owner says KG "tanked it" at end of last season

So it sounds like Wolves owner Glen Taylor is a little upset about Kevin Garnett's recent success. He says that at the end of last season KG tanked it when he missed the last five games of the season. I'm sorry but KG was the only good thing the T-Wolves had going. They were terrible the last couple of years. But you could still count on KG playing his heart out night in and night out.
Sounds like a little jealousy if you ask me...

The Odenator practices with the Blazers

Great news out of Sacramento. G.O. practiced with the team for the first time since his season ending surgery. He said "It was fun." Great news for Rip City fans! I'm enjoying this year but I absolutely cannot wait for next season to get here...

Terrelle Pryor already has his own action figure? WTF?

Jeannette High School QB Terrelle Pryor already has something that a ton of professional football players don't, his own action figure. I know that this kid is a great player and all, but seriously, his own action figure? I could understand if he was a college player going pro but we're talking about a high schooler! I think this is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. What if this kid doesn't live up to the hype? What if he goes Marcus Vick and gets kicked out of school?

Kobe's 81 as good as Wilt's 100?

I thought Kobe's 81 was pretty damn impressive but not near Wilt's 100 point game. This guy makes some good points though. I think Wilt's is still the most amazing scoring game in league history. What do you think?

Andy Roddick loses mind, decides to skip Olympics

So the best American tennis player is deciding to skip the Olympics and instead defend his Legg Mason title. He says it'll be the best way to tune up for the U.S. Open. Why wouldn't you want to represent your country and try to win Olympic gold?

The Birdman flies once again!

I'm happy to see Chris Andersen back in the NBA. It sounds like he's done a great job of working his ass off to get back to the league. Hopefully he'll stay clean and be a positive role model for all of the kids out there. And hopefully he won't ever participate in the Slam Dunk contest again.
