Player Spotlight: Sergio Garcia
Sergio Garcia won his first tournament of the 2008 season, and the biggest of his career to date, at THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Garcia was the runner-up at last years PLAYERS Championship and was one of the best ball strikers on the week, leading the field in greens in regulation and near the top in fairways hit. He has had a good season, missing only one cut (The Masters) in nine events. Thus far, Garcia has four top 20 finishes, including the win. He played into the second round, a 17th place finish, at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, losing to Boo Weekley. He finished 15th at the WGC-CA Championship with weekend rounds of 69 and 68. Garcia's third top 20 finish came at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship, where he finished 19th with a 65 in the third round.
