Wagner Returns And The Mets Bounce Back

Closer Saves Solid Effort By Maine

The Mets weren't about to hand the Phillies another win tonight. Billy Wagner was available in the 9th inning this time and preserved the 6-3 lead, pulling the Mets back into a flat-footed tie with Philly in the NL East.
