Why Derek Jeter Got Hurt And Other Baseball Notes

New York Yankees' $300MM man Alex Rodriguez returned from the DL and homered.  Unfortunately, his team was already down 10-0 when he did it.  That wasn't his fault though.  SS Derek Jeter made an error in the top of the 1st inning that lead to six unearned runs.

Jeter later left the game after being hit on the hand by an errant Daniel Cabrera fastball.  I think it was my fault because I was thinking about him getting injured and whether the Yankees would be better moving ARod to short and plugging 3B with Morgan Ensberg rather than letting rookie Alberto Gonzalez play full-time at SS.  Then Jeter got hit.  My apologies. more...
