Arsenal boss Arteta: Timber getting closer

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says Jurrien Timber is getting closer to a senior return.

The defender has recovered from an ACL injury suffered on the opening day of the season and is now seeking match fitness.

Arteta said: "Too soon for him [to play against Wolves].

"He's going to continue to play for the Under-23s. He looked good in training. He now needs to make that step and the certainty to go.

"The rest [of the players] are all good."
