Aston Villa launch bid for Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso

Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso is almost certain to arrive in the Premier League in the summer.

That is according to Spanish reports, with Sport Mediaset stating that Aston Villa have put in a bid.

The centre back is out of contract in the summer and will have his share of suitors.

The likes of Inter Milan and Juventus are interested, while Marca in Spain adds that Villa's interest is very real.

The outlet goes on to state that Hermoso may even have a chance to go to Saudi Arabia for big money.

Whether he chooses Villa is unclear, as he may find the other offers more tempting.
