Celtic should move against disgraceful lies spread by the Israeli media

Liel Abada may no longer be a Celtic player, but that still hasn’t stopped the many lies being spread about the reason why he felt the need to leave the club. The Israeli media are the main culprits, and the lies that they have published are both inaccurate and damaging to the good name of the Celtic supporters. It’s bewildering that these lies are still getting media attention despite the player himself thanking the football club and the supporters for his time at the club in his farewell speech.

Some guy by the name of Ben Green produced the biggest lot of nonsense on X not so long ago. He said the Liel Abada transfer was the most shameful football transfer of all time! All based on a false article by an Israeli sports outlet. Green has reposted this fabricated piece on many social media forms.

Green, who is based in Israel is some sort of ‘growth builder’ according to his Linkedln profile. He should add shameful liar to his resume. Ben Green doesn’t exactly have a big X following, but his lies reached all the right people. Yes the backward folk of this country who have no qualms about spreading lies about our football club to fulfil their own warped agenda.

Ironically the same folk are consumed with their own prejudices. Maybe folk such as Ben Green should do some research into our club, our identity, and why we were formed. Not to mention the many challenges a lot of us, our fathers and forefathers  have had to face over the past 100 years or so. I think they would be quite surprised.

Ben is a nobody just seeking attention, but his false accusations have been very damaging to the good name of our supporters, all aided and abetted by the lies of the Israeli media. Our football club needs to stand up to these propagandists and demand an apology and a retraction or threaten legal action. The supporters all know it’s a lie. The club know it’s all lies, even the Israeli media know it’s all a lie.

It’s time we took action and stopped these false smears. Unfortunately I don’t think our club have the backbone to do so.
