Chelsea are reportedly watching a new Brazilian international who has reached a crossroads in his career and could make a move.

That is according to some local reporting from Globo in Brazil.

They claim that Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Inter, Benfica, and Wolves are just some of the clubs that have been scouting new Brazil international goalkeeper, Bento, who stands at 6ft 3in tall.

Bento’s performances in the Brazilian national team’s two friendlies against England and Spain meant that the Athletico goalkeeper returned home extremely valued, and the aforementioned clubs aim to ‘come strong’ to sign him in the next window.

His club. Athletico Paranaense, has already turned down proposals for Bento of 15 million euros, and the tendency is that he is now even more valued. Athletico will increase the value even more to release Bento.

Bento is 24-years-old and has only ever played in Brazil so far, making over 100 appearances for his club since coming through the youth ranks in 2020.
