Chelsea midfielder Caicedo: Paez can be Ecuador great with dedication

Chelsea star Moises Caicedo has revealed what Kendry Paez must do to realise his potential.

The 16-year-old is already in hot water after appealing at a New York strip club while on international duty.

However, his club and country teammate Caicedo has a few words of advice for Paez.

Speaking to Ecuadorian publication Elfutbolero.com, the Blues midfielder said: "They talk a lot about him, more like all the staff, who are always watching him in the videos, who want to have him here now.

"The time he came they wanted him to stay because everyone knows that he is great and if he does his part and dedicates himself every day, in training and outside, he will be a total great."

Speaking to La Cancha Con Majo in July, he added: "He's a crack (a top player)! The truth is there are times where I watch Independiente games, it's good to see those talents in Ecuador because we know we have very good youth.

"I'm very happy for him, for everything that he's doing. All I can tell him is keep on the right track, doing things really well, and he's going to go really far because the talent he has is incredible."
