Done Deal: Chelsea send Santos to Strasbourg

Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has signed on loan for Strasbourg in Ligue 1.

The 19-year-old spent the first half of the campaign at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

However, he barely got any game time, leading to the Blues recalling him and sending him out to their sister team.

Strasbourg are owned by Todd Boehly and Behdad Egbahli, the Clearlake Capital co-owners of Chelsea.

Chelsea never planned on integrating Santos into the first team squad this term.

They were searching for different loan options and eventually went with Strasbourg.
