Done Deal: Nottingham Forest land BVB midfielder Reyna

Nottingham Forest have pulled off an incredibly surprising winter signing this week.

The relegation candidates have signed United States midfielder Giovanni Reyna.

The youngster, who was the subject of controversy during the 2022 World Cup, arrives from Borussia Dortmund.

Reyna will be at Forest on loan until the end of the season, with the club said to have no option for a permanent deal.

Reyna is the son of Claudio Reyna, who was a United States and Sunderland star.

He will now go straight into the Forest squad as they look to avoid relegation.
