Everton are interested in Manchester City midfielder Alex Robertson.
Robertson, 20, is on-loan at Portsmouth this season, where he has impressed on the south coast.
The News says Everton have scouted Robertson at Fratton Park and delivered glowing reports to technical director Kevin Thelwell.
A January move to Goodison Park could now be on.
City can recall Robertson in January ahead of selling him.
