Thankfully our international boredom is over, now on to a massive, must win game on Sunday…

The much dreaded international break is thankfully now over and done with and we can finally refocus on club football as Celtic take on Livingston at the Tony Macaroni arena on Easter Sunday in the Scottish Premiership.

Not only is the hindrance of the dull and disappointing international games beyond us, another positive is that we didn’t suffer any player casualties during these meaningless fixtures.

Sunday’s clash is huge, make no mistake. Sure the following Sunday’s game is the one in everyone’s thoughts, but we need to negotiate a tough test on the dreaded plastic against a team of hammer-throwers before we can even think about winning at Ibrox.

Livingston may be rock bottom and staring relegation in the face, but they will prove a tough nut to crack, especially on their home carpet. Wee Martindale will have his players well up for this, you can bet your life on that. He’ll set his side up to frustrate us and will encourage his players to be hard on us physically. It will be Kyogo & Co versus the Land of the Giants but Celtic’s quality should tell.

We’ve got to find a way to overcome this and the pretty football might need to go out the window for this one. We need to stand up and deliver if we want to win the title. We need to show we want it. Three points is the most important thing we need to take from this game, nothing less and nothing else. We need to win at all costs.
