Lesley Ugochukwu is in line for an early playing chance at Chelsea after the international break.
The summer signing from Rennes is set to step up with Romeo Lavia facing an extended spell on the sideline due to a training ground injury.
Lavia has suffered an ankle strain and there's concerns his absence could run into months.
Ugochukwu, 19, joined from Rennes in a 23.2m deal last month.
He was expected to be loaned out to Strasbourg, but instead remained at Stamford Bridge. Blues manager Mauricio Pochettino has handed him two cameo appearances in the Premier League.
Ugochukwu also played the full 90 minutes of their 2-1 League Cup win over AFC Wimbledon.
