Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund admits he could sense many were hoping he'd fail in England.
After a slow start, the Dane is now breaking Premier League goalscoring records.
Hojlund told TV 2: "I could feel the support from the first day, but it is clear that there are many who want to see you down because you have reached the shelf you are, and there are many who might be envious.
"There have been many positive comments, but there have also been some negative ones that I have had to sort through."
Hojlund is expected to be ready for Sunday's FA Cup quarterfinal against Liverpool.
