Manchester City may look to sell defender Aymeric Laporte following the arrival of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.

Simon Mullock of the Mirror reports that the treble winners may look to sell Laporte after the arrival of Gvardiol. He adds to his report that City has placed a £30 million price tag on the Spanish international.

Mullock adds that Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa have all monitored the situation with the Spanish centre back this summer. Manchester City would prefer to sell Laporte to a foreign club Mullock further adds.

City’s Spanish centreback is set for talks with his agents this week reports Fabrizio Romano. Writing in his CaughtOffside exclusive column Romano added that the champions are open to selling Aymeric Laporte this summer. He adds that they’ll only sell the defender if an important offer comes in for his services.

With the arrival of Josko Gvardiol, the Premier League champions now have a plethora of defensive options in their current squad.  Finding enough minutes to cater for them all may be a tough task for Guardiola.

If the reports are correct, and Laporte does meet with his agent this week, a resolution to the City stalwarts future may be around the corner.
