AC Milan are back in the frame for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos as the Spaniard is failing to get the minutes that he wants under Carlo Ancelotti.

As has been reported by Mundo Deportivo in Spain, Ceballos is likely to evaluate his options again in the summer given he is barely being used by the Italian coach.

He seemed likely to leave last summer but instead he decided to stay and sign a new contract, on the assumption that he could muscle his way into the team for some regular starts.

There is interest in the 27-year-old from LaLiga clubs such as Real Betis and Athletic Club, but Milan are also said to be keen on revisiting their previous interest, with changes expected in midfield.

Milan are said to have a good relationship with Real Madrid and it is likely in the Spanish club’s interest to get Ceballos off the books given he has a new contract and is not part of the manager’s plans.

Ceballos has played 14 times in LaLiga this season but only 3% of those have been from the start. His only goal of the season came in the Champions League, where he has played in three of the eight games so far.
