Newcastle boss Howe: I want Dummett and Dubravka to stay

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe says he wants to keep hold of Paul Dummett and Martin Dubravka.

Howe insists the pair will see plenty of action next season.

I hope we can come to an agreement with Paul and he will stay for next year," Howe said. "I think he is a vital part behind the scenes of our success this year. He's trained superbly and his commitment to Newcastle is undoubted.

"We'd love him to extend his stay.

We need as good a squad as we can have going into a season where we're going to have loads of games, so if Martin [Dubravka] were to stay, I think he'd get a lot of football."
