Official: Oscar Bobb signs on with Manchester City until 2029

Manchester City have officially announced that Oscar Bobb has signed a new three-contract extension with the club. The youngster has shone since being promoted to the Manchester City first team this season. His form and his undoubted potential have seen Bobb rewarded with a contract extension until 2029.

City’s Norwegian starlet has made 16 appearances so far this season for the world champions. He has added 2 goals and 2 assists so far this campaign. But what also has been evident is his immense technical ability during those appearances. Since graduating from the Manchester City academy to the first team he has shown that he has the talent and temperament to make it at Manchester City.

Speaking after his contract extension was announced on mancity.com Oscar Bobb was proud to continue his career at Manchester City. The youngster said: “I am very proud and honoured to have signed my new contract with City. It’s an incredible environment and the best possible place to be for a young player – I have already learnt so much from Pep, his coaching staff and my team-mates. To know I’m going to be here at the Club until 2029 means everything to me.”

Pep Guardiola said that the hard work now begins for Bobb. The City manager said: “The most difficult part is now for Oscar. Arrive, and to make an impact is the most easiest one. The really difficult one is to stay there for a long time and the minutes you play to perform well and earn more minutes… that is the part that is most difficult.”

It is exciting news for Manchester City to tie up Oscar Bobb to a long-term extension. With his his future secured he can focus on making a mark on this season and beyond.
