Manchester City youngster Oscar Bobb is determined to make it at the European champions. The young Norwegian has made it to the first team after graduating through the lauded City Academy.

In an interview with Norwegian outlet Dagbladet, the young winger believes staying at Manchester City is best for his development. He explained: “It’s nice. It’s a place you want to be. It’s the best place you can be to develop and improve as a footballer. There is not one person (inside the dressing room) who stands out.”

Bobb also explained that there was no plan for him to go out on loan this season. He added: “It wasn’t that this summer. That’s not the way I want to go. You never know, but I’d rather be at City.”

Oscar Bobb further explained he’d be happy to spend his career with the treble winners adding: “My agents and the club take care of that. I don’t know anything (of potential talks for a new deal). That (staying at City for the rest of his life) would be cool.”

This season has seen Bobb break into the City senior squad and also pick up his first cap for his country. He also scored his first goal for Norway last week in their 2-nil friendly win over the Faroe Islands.

He has also made 7 appearances for Manchester City so far this season. Most of those have been cameo appearances as a substitute so far. He did make his first start in Manchester City’s Carabao Cup third-round loss to Newcastle.

While Bobb’s appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side have mainly been brief cameo appearances, the quality he has is obvious. With the player keen to develop at City he will likely get more chances to impress as the season progresses.
