Kylian Mbappé will reportedly join Real Madrid this summer when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June. The 25-year-old will arrive as a free agent to the Spanish giants, but one player isn’t keen on leaving despite the changes coming to the team.

Real Madrid secured a dramatic 3-2 win over FC Barcelona in El Clasico on Sunday night at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. It’s likely the last match between the two rivals that won’t feature Mbappé, who will probably be part of these classic matches starting next season.

Even though the squad dynamics will change with the Frenchman’s arrival, Brazilian standout Rodrygo doesn’t intend to leave the team. The 23-year-old stated after the win over Barcelona that he wants to continue playing for Los Blancos.

“I love this club too much,” Rodrygo told beIN Sports (h/t Diario AS). “I hope my future is always here.”

It will be interesting to see how Real Madrid handle the new team structure and whether players are content with their roles or the minutes they’re receiving once the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner joins the team.
