Dwight Yorke believes Jobe Bellingham will be incredibly driven to reach a similar level to brother Jude Bellingham, and that can only benefit Sunderland.

Jude Bellingham is perhaps the top player in the world right now, with him taking his game to a whole new level since joining Real Madrid in the summer.

He and Jobe are incredibly close and he has already been to Sunderland twice in person to support his younger brother, as well as attending the Black Cats’ away win at Hull City.

Similarly, Jobe was with Jude Bellingham when he was unveiled as a Real Madrid player, and Yorke says that being that close to a ‘superstar’ of world football will be an incredibly motivating factor for the Sunderland midfielder.

“I think Jobe Bellingham has got a lot of aspirations that he’s taken from his brother,” Yorke told Footy Accumulators. “An England international and a superstar in our game.

“When you have an older brother who you can look up to you take a lot of confidence, but he has his own path and he will continue to grow and it will give him the hunger to try and emulate his brother and it’s refreshing to see.

“That’s the player you want in your side as you know he will try and get closer to his brother in ability and I like the look of how it looks at the moment.”

Jobe has not made the instant impact in the Championship that Jude made, but he has been a mainstay for Sunderland this season despite being just 18-years-old.

He has started almost every game and has also filled in as an emergency striker too, with his performances already catching the eye of clubs such as Real Madrid, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea.
