Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says no decision has been made on the future of Timo Werner.

The attacker is on-loan from RB Leipzig, however injury appears to have ended his season.

Postecoglou said of keeping hold of Werner: "The only reason for that is because it's not just about the here and now, but about the overall strategy. I talk about where I want us to be in the next six months to be better than today. Timo we brought in until the end of the season on loan and he is part of the strategy to see where we are this summer and what we can do.

"Will there be other holes and where does Timo fit into them? I think he has been very good for us. He came in at a very important time, when Heung-Min Son was away at the Asian Championships and Richarlison was injured.

"We didn't have many options out on the wings. Him coming in was very helpful for us and I think he's made an impression but in my head we need to know what we have here right now. I need some clarity before I can make a decision."
