Still in Toronto.....

Well, I'm still up here in Toronto. I was almost on my way to Cincinnati, but managed to pull off a win today against Dmitry Tursunov. I lost to him last week in the semis of Indianapolis, so it was nice to get some revenge. He had chances to break me at 4-4 in the third set, but i fought them off and won the match 6-4 in the third set. So tomorrow is the quarterfinals against Nicolas Kiefer. Hopefully I can keep finding ways to win these matches as I work towards the Olympics and U.S. Open. There's been a lot of rain here, so the matches are packed into just a few days. I'm happy I've done so much training to make sure my legs are ready for a long summer on the hard courts of match after match. In the rain delays I've managed to win a few hearts games. That's my favorite pastime when we are stuck at the courts. Hopefully I won't need to play cards anymore this week as the weather is supposed to be good.

What happened today against Kiefer? You seemed frustrated with his defense and then in the second set he threw your serving rhythm off. Good luck at the Open. It would be great to see you make a long run.

Good Luck dude.

Wow I thought that we had him, but you seemed alittle tired with the way he was serving. Well lets get revenge eith him later he seems to be on a run in this one. Well be posted for the Cincy tornament ( well have to watch on-line). A match is a match and watching you makes it more exciting. good luck and lets not see any more losses, because when these players win against you you make them look good(too good from where I see) so lets Fire it up one more time in Cincy. Ill be rooting 4 you. Hollywood from WaterTown, NYC

Good job on the match against Tursunov. I'm sure you will have great success for the rest of your stay in Toronto. I very excited to see the Davis Cup Team reunite in Richmond this September.

Showing much love from D.C.

Take care.

James please get HUNGRY again. I love watching you play, but later you have been playing FULL. peace

Ya never know what's gonna happen in sports. One can have an "off" day, or a good day. We all know you're the #8 player in the world...THE WORLD. And #10 in the ATP 2008 Race. Those are some insane stats. Looks like you're playing Kiefer OR the guy who just took out Feds, Simon, in the 1st Rd at Cincy. And Kiefer's playing Simon in the semi's in Toronto later today. Crazy. Just watch their match today and you'll be set!

Tough going on Friday;Kiefer looked to be unbeatable. Best of luck in Cincy! Good job with your best showing in the TMS in Canada to date. Your number of quarterfinal appearances this year is very impressive. Keep up the good work!
Great to see the JBlock merchandise (especially the womens shirt). Ordered mine today! What an awesome thing you (and Nike) are doing....

Good Luck James!!!!

Good luck at Olympics, I'm @ Beijing for U right now!
