The All-Star teams were announced just minutes ago and two Phillies, 2B Chase Utley and P Brad Lidge, were selected to play in th 79th midseason classic.

Fans can also vote in OF Pat Burrell in the Final Vote at MLB.com

'the best student section in the country' isn't getting what it deserves. in a stadium that holds well over 100,000...just 22,000 students can witness the weekly holidays in state college that are penn state football.

This after the Spurs beat the Hornets in game 7...

All 4 sports. Every championship team in recent memory. Nobody compares to the Spurs, who started in 1999 and play the same way to this day: with a high basketball IQ and strong defense. A style that might award them their 5th title in 9 years.

10 Million Dollars

Ryan Howard was the 2006 MVP. An average of .313, over 50 HR and 149 RBI. Since then all his numbers have done is plummet. Well, his strikeouts have gone way up.

He won his arbitration hearing and is earning 10 million dollars this year. His stats say he isn't earning a dime.
