It's All But Official, Jermaine O'Neal for TJ Ford

The fantasy implications of the Jermaine O'Neal for T.J. Ford and Rasho Nesterovic trade. Now with 100% less Jamaal Tinsley.

The Top 100 Fantasy Players – A Visual Representation

Fantasy basketball is all about lists: the top 20 point guards, the top 10 rookies, the 99 reasons why I hate Bonzi Wells. The game is driven by stats and these stats give us ample opportunity to calculate, sort, rank, and evaluate players in pretty much any way that we can think of. But instead of giving you another list, what if there was a way to visually display players to see how they relate to one another on a map?

Game 4: Did I Miss Anything?

Ok, I admit it. I'm an idiot. I turned off game 4 at the middle of the 3rd quarter with the Lakers up by 20. I'm an east coast guy. It was already 11 and I had to work the next day. Why should I waste good sleeping time screaming at Doc Rivers and watching the Lakers blow out the Celtics?

More on Ranking Players by Position

Graphing the 2007-08 fantasy player ratings for the top 20 players at each position. Why it might pay to wait on drafting small forwards. And do centers really suck that badly?

Day 171 of 170: What, the Regular Season is Over? (End of the Year Awards)

I had an empty feeling in my stomach this weekend because there were no regular season games to recap (although the playoffs started on an exciting note). But after investing 170 days of our lives, it's only fitting to recap the best and worst of the fantasy season that was.

Day 170 of 170: The World Ends

The Biggest Loser: I'd be tempted to say the Miami Heat, but really, they're going to get a good draft pick and hopefully have a healthy D-Wade and Shawn Marion next season, so things aren't all that bad. Really, I guess it goes to the Warriors whose 48 wins would have put them at the number 4 seed in the Eastern Conference (not to mention that in the East, they probably would have won more than 48 games).

Day 168 of 170: Isiah Thomas Wants a Parade

Line of the Night/Waiver Wire Line of the Night/Waiver Wire Line of the Year: Ramon Sessions (7.0) had a franchise record 24 assists for the Bucks (in a crazy game they lost to the Bulls 151-135). Sessions also added 20 points, making him the first Buck to throw down a 20 point-20 assist game, ever.

Day 167 of 170: So Long Seattle

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Not much out there today, so let's give a tip of the old hat to not-quite-waiver-wire-but-close-enough-for-government-work Earl Watson (4.9). Amazingly, the 4 foot Watson was only 2 boards short of a triple-double as he finished with 21/8/10 in 42 minutes. The Sonics beat the Mavs 99-95 in what could have been their last home game in Seattle.

Day 166 of 170: It's Time to Sing the Praises of Danny Granger

Line of the Night: The not nearly as sung as he should be Danny Granger (5.5) had a career high scoring night, finishing with 37 points off 6-12 from three. He added 5 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block, although the Pacers suffered a playoff crushing loss from the Bobcats. While he won't make the playoffs, keep Granger high on your cheat sheets for next season.

Day 164 of 170: Nuggets Have Hand

Line of the Night: Only 3 games yesterday, but one of them was the epic showdown between the Nuggets and the Warriors for the 8th playoff spot in the West (using the current exchange rate, that roughly translates into the 3rd seed in the East). So, it's only fitting that Carmelo Anthony (6.0) wins the LotN.

Who to Play and Who to Sit: An Eastern Conference Rundown

Have we really hit the last week of fantasy basketball? If you're one of the lucky ones, you are either wrapping up a roto league or you've already finished your H2H championships a week or two ago. If your team is in a championship this week? You're probably screwed.

But let GMTR help you out. Here's a team-by-team rundown for the Eastern Conference (with the West to come).

Seriously. Has a team ever wanted to make the playoffs LESS than the Nuggets?

Day 159 of 170: The Bobcats are no match for the Celtics' C-Minus Team

The Biggest Loser: By this point in the season, Jason Richardson (2.0) owners know to expect games like this from him every blue moon. Richardson was 4-12 from the field and 1-7 from three. He scored 9 points with 1 rebound and 4 assists as the Bobcats got torched by the Celtics backup squad.
