Recent Happenings

It's been awhile folks in the time between now, and my last article so what has happened. Well we all saw the pursuit of perfection take a detour to choke town. In what will go down as one of the best super bowls ever. Tiger blew it big in Dubai. North Carolina lost to Maryland. And once again all star voting snubs the best PG in the league, a guy by the name of Baron Davis. Well people as Andy Pettite said yesterday i have no comment.

Warrior Basketball

With all star weeknd approaching the warriors find themselves just where they wanna be. No not the 8th seated team, but something far more important. Healthy. Baron is putting up crazy numbers on a nightly occasion.Stephen Jackson who is a premiere scorer. Monte is having a lights out season, and with a supporting cast including big man Biedrens(best field goal percentage). Matt Barnes. Azubuke, and now with pietrius now on the trading block, the warriors are becoming a western conference force. With only 4 games separating us and Kobe seeing as they won't have bynum for 8 weeks. I like our chances to pass them. Tonight we square off against the terrible Timberwolves. No break down needed this is a win for the Warriors

Next Year

Well now that my teams Football season is over on to next year. What can Big D's Cowboys do to get over the hump? I got 5, check it out.

1. Ok starting we have to cut down on stupid penalties. I saw an offensive linemen just fall on Micheal Strahan. I know we hate the Giants but that is uncalled for.

2. Give the ball to T.O. Simple as that. I feel like yeah we have a good recieving core, but when you want that big play that was needed late in the game such as yesterday. Nine out of Ten times I'm going to T.O.

3. Deal Roy Williams. Move up in the draft do something with this guy. He is terrible against the pass, flags are always a problem, and he doesn't even hit like he used to. We all loved number 31 early on his career, but he is gonna have to show me something if we are gonna win the big one.

4. Improve on special teams. Giving up good field position is terrible it shortens the field you defense has to protect and leaves with no choice but to end up with atleast a field goal.

5. And as fans let's leave Tony Romo alone. I swear I heard about that vacation, more than the game leading up to this pass weeks contest. If you think just because he is a professional that isnt gonna get to a guy you have lost it.

wait till next year.

Let the Games Begin

With the NFL playoffs begining (Wildcard is for tv ratings). I'm beginning to come across alot of people wanting to be the next swami. Making wild predictions just so they can say I told you so. But here is the deal this weekend we have 4 games, 2 of these games are actual matchups.

The first game I shall focus on is the Colts defending there home dome from the hot San Diego Super Chargers. Will history repeat it self, will San Diego goto the RCA dome and pull off a major upset... Ummm not this year sorry people. Here is the deal Antonio Gates tremendous TE is questionable due to a dislocated big toe suffered in a win over the Titans wildcard weekend. But, lets not forget there is a guy who wears number 88 who is Peyton Mannings Favorite Touchdown Target, yeah he is gonna start. So in the end the Colts will roll and continue there pursuit of a repeat.Final score Colts 41, Chargers 27. They are still the champs for now.

Sticking with the trend, ohh and this is gonna be a good one the Jaguars ferocious D-line will get a chance to silence boston's perfect year in sports with sending the Perfect Patriots home. Wishful thinking sorry jags maybe next year. The way I see it the Patriots are just too strong, just too fresh, and just better. With a stellar offensive line, a beast wearing number 81, a decent Quarter Back and a offensive coordinator who knows a exactly what to call. Its just not your year jags. Final Score Pats 49, Jags 24, and the pursuit of perfection continues.

Now its NFC time. Let's talk Packers Bret Favre will try to finish his career on a high riding off into the sunset like all great sports heroes. It all starts now buddy coming to town we have former coach and his tough seahawks. The way I see it in the freezing cold of the frozen tundra this is gonna be a hard hitting defensive contest. But to keep it simple the Pack have a stronger defense and the crowd on there side. Final score 17 24 packers. Happy trails seahawks.

On to the game of the week featuring my Dallas Cowboys against the hated New York Giants. I have one problem with this, who cares if Tony Romo went to Mexico with ugh Jessica Simpson last time I checked I celeberty get away isn't a trip across the border. Hell half of Texas looks like Mexico. So enough about that onto the game. Yeah Romo botched a snap last year and Eli is now considered to be over his choking. That's good I hate to see people fold, but Eli hasn't folded in the past 2 games this season here is the deal. The Cowboys are just a better team. Yeah our last few games were less than Cowboy quality, but we already had homefield advantage through out the playoffs. Final Score 38 24 Dallas. Get your pop corn ready!
