Idk if im the only one that feels this way, but ever since vick got indicted for the dog fighting thing protesters are just going crazy. I mean i hate what Vick did... if he did it, but protesters are pathetic. Tell me if you agree or disagree with this.

I mean come on what human being from 20 to how ever old they are have such a boring life as too spend time to protest with signs and such. Do they not have anything better to do or at least pick a better thing to protest against. there was a guy who raped a 12 year old girl and then killed her but protesters are worried more about dogs then people its ridiculous.... GET A LIFE!!!!

It is a terrible thing that Vick did. If he did do it, but seriously do not dress up like dogs and yelling out sack Vick, or whatever, sure wear the shirts but stop with the protesting... what purpose does it even serve it doesn't change anything.

I think this is absolutely ridiculous... tell me if you agree. David Stern is too busy paying attention to what Allen Iverson is wearing, if people are listening to I pods, or people taking two steps out of a box and then get a suspension. That he doesn't even know that a ref is changing the outcome of games.



This is what i don't get, he fines people thousands of dollars because you can't criticize the officials, but the players might even be right. Rasheed Wallace confronted Tim Donaghy outside at a parking lot or something of that sort because he was mad at Tim. You know what Rasheed got for that? a fine and a 7 game suspension even though we now know Tim might have been controlling the outcome.



If there is one person to blame for all of this it has to be David Stern because while he's worrying about dress codes and trying to be as strict as he can on the players (THE ONES WHO ARE ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME) refs like Tim are taking advantage... because you know if Tim is found guilty hes not the only one. So if there is one person who should be blamed for this it has to be David Stern. So let the players do what they want because he needs to worry more about things that actually matter in the league, like this fiasco.



This has NEVER happened in our four major sports in America. i mean where refs control the outcome for the points spread. It has never been caught at least except for one sport, and it's the sport where everyone isn't surprised it happened, which shows you how much the NBA messed up.

OK so i have been reading stuff on ESPN and some people are comparing dog fighting to the UFC. It is like they are trying to make excuses for Michael Vick. Alright well first of all the UFC you don't get killed if you lose, second you fight on you're own free will, third you can tap out and give up whenever you want, and fourth dogs fight much more violently then people do, people will get a little bruised and maybe a bloody nose, when dogs fight they rip each other to pieces. How people can enjoy this sport is disgusting.

On another note though a friend of mine gave me this to think about. We all worry about dog fighting, but what people do to cows and pigs is just as disgusting. Sure it's not illegal but really its just as disgusting. I mean people are like Michael Vick deserves what he gets he should be put in jail for like 5 years for this gruesome act, but people do this to cows and pigs but because its legal and we need that to eat we don't care. I thought when i first heard about this that its the most disturbing thing ever but then i realized this happens to many more animals but we don't care sure we need to eat, but maybe just because its Michael Vick we feel it's more disgusting then other stuff the only thing that makes this different from killing cows and pigs the way we do is that one thing is legal.

Personally i think its gruesome, but i am not going to go overboard and say he deserves a severe punishment i say he deserves a little jail time and a suspension from football and then let us see how he handles himself after that.

I'm tired of the centers in the NBA. In the center dominated era of Professional basketball Centers were dominant beasts, now they are super tall with absolutely the worse display of athleticism ever shown on national TV. I mean Yao Ming for example i guess benches 300 something but for some reason is the weakest thing i have ever seen and i don't want to talk about his over abundance of athleticism. Then theres zydrunas ilgauskas who is 7'3 and suppose to be pretty good but cant dominate OBERTO and look at Shaq he is like 100 years old and still so strong he can power down anyone and put up some good numbers as he showed when wade went down. the thing is shaq can do this because he has what mentality a center should have dominate down low, get the rebounds, posterize the competition. Centers should not be taking jump shots 19 feet away. Greg Oden i think is going to be more of a offensive force then people think he has the right mentality like i said stay close, rebound, posterize. You don't see oden taking jump shots. We need more people in the nba to dominate like shaq and i think Oden will be like that. Yao Ming puts up good numbers but its a weak unintimidating performance he is 7'6 but does not ever get more then 9 rebounds a game which is why the rockets loss in the first round of the playoffs. I think this shows how weak the center position is getting.
