#37 Rodney Harrison:
Harrison was voted the dirtiest player a couple years in a row by his peers, but I love him anyways.
Troy Brown:
Brown ranks first on the Patriots all-time receptions list with 557 career receptions and is second in receiving yardage list for the Pats with 6,366 yards.

5 Positives About the Patriots (insert your team here) Sucking this Year

#5. Ticket prices will go down

#4. Drinking will be more fun and interactive (more yager bombs!)

#3 Bill Belichicks vague post game conferences will make more sense. "Certainly, there are a lot of things we could do better but I thought there were some positives out there to work with" (BRILLIANT!)

#2 Budwiser may sponser a "real men of genius" featuring the coach. (That's Hot!)

#1 We can extend the tailgating parties to the entire game, and maybe even leave the game early to continue. (We'll sleep in the parking lots! Yessssss.)

If anyone can think of any other positives please email me or respond to this post, as I am sure I will need more then just five by the end of the season!

Ocho cinco Loves Him some Marvin Lewis

Mmmm-mmmm! I mean look at that coach! Does something for me too! Damn. I can't compete with that name though.

"The Cincinnati Bengals receiver acknowledged on Wednesday that he leaned into coach Marvin Lewis and gave him a peck on the cheek during a 31-22 loss in Dallas. He said it was the first time he'd ever kissed a coach."

Oh that is so sweet.

Now you probably are asking..WHY? Why would he actually kiss his coach? I mean, don't they usually like smack each other on the A$$ or make them do push ups? Something less homosexual? (**disclaimer** no offense gay people) Ocho's reply?

"He whispered something in my ear that I really liked, so I kissed him," Ocho Cinco said

Oh baby, that makes me hot every time. Does this mean he is going to start catching the ball now? Is he going to put the R back in Receiver? Can I put Ocho Cinco on my fantasy team yet? What happened to the TD celebrations? Did Marvin give him a spanking?

To top it all offa€¦I can't even believe ESPN printed this parta€¦ahem.

"He just said, 'Keep your head in the game, stay focused, blah blah blah,'" the receiver said. "And he said, 'Smile!' This little thing Coach Lewis and I have: When things aren't going right, he just looks at me and says 'smile.' Whatever's going on, it goes right away."

I don't think I can put him back in just yet.

Randy Moss to Matt Cassel: "Are you feeling lucky punk?"

Such is the bullet that Cassel dodged on Sunday.

I just have to say that the Pats O-Line is pathetic. They allowed Cassel to be sacked and hurried ALL day, in friggin San Francisco!

Thankfully the double coverage was sleeping on Moss which allowed Cassel to complete that pass, which basically was one of those textbook shut the f up Randy Moss and catch the friggin ball plays. Al Davis will be commenting on whether the play was 'worked out' by the Raiders beforehand.

Hopefully Randy Moss is going to board the Matt Cassel train and his next quote to the media better be "Tom who?"

I can't get my hopes up though.

Oh and #37 RRRRRocked.

thanks.

Jacksonville's Collier paralyzed, has leg amputated

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. a€" " Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier, shot while sitting in a car outside an apartment complex earlier this month, is paralyzed below the waist and his left leg was amputated, his doctor said Monday."

It is so sad to hear this guy's promising career has been taken away, and now his whole life will revolve around a wheel chair because of some evil people walking the streets. I hope the people who did this are caught and have their entire lives taken away as they have so quickly done to him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Collier's family. It is very sad.

"Collier, who played high school football at Northwood High School in Shreveport, was on a ventilator for about three weeks and has no memory of the shooting, said Dr. Andy Kerwin, a surgeon for the University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville hospital.

"His overall condition has improved greatly," Kerwin said. "We expect him to be discharged soon."

Kerwin said Collier suffered 14 bullet wounds to the back, left groin, left legs and right buttock. In addition, a bullet severed his spinal cord, causing the paralysis. The amputation was the result of damage to his left leg and groin, where blood clots formed. Five bullets alone were removed from his urinary bladder and the 26-year-old player also had bouts of pneumonia, infections and renal failure.

Still, his condition has been upgraded to good from critical.

Collier will undergo physical therapy to learn how to move from his bed to a wheelchair. He will never walk again, the doctor said.

Collier's agent Jeff Jankovich said the player's family wanted to make sure Collier understood what had happened to him before releasing details to the public. He said they even kept the Jaguars in the dark.

"He has extreme grief for a lifetime of dreams he won't be able to fulfill," the agent said.

Jankovich refused to say specifically when Collier would be released, citing security concerns.

Collier and former teammate Kenneth Pettway were waiting for two women outside an apartment complex early Sept. 2 when a gunman fired into the vehicle, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Pettway was not injured.

The motive behind the attack on Collier is unknown, but investigators said earlier he appeared to be targeted. Police have made no arrests in the shooting."

Minnesota STOP BOOING YOUR QB!!

You know what disgusts me more then bandwagoning fans?? Fans that boo their own QB for no good reason.

You need to back your rookie QB. Do not BOO him because he makes a mistake. WOW! How classeless! I will never pick minnesota ever again this year. They are going to lose EVERY game with that attitude!

When there are crutial parts in the game and your team is WINNINGa€¦YOU might want to back the guy driving;..unless you WANT TO crash..Which is the case with Vikings fans apparently..What do you think? Tavaris has to be like Culpepper? He isn't. Yes he runs WAAAAY out of the pocket. bUt he is NOT that bad. He has a steady arm, and he has some confidence..which was crushed by the fans.

Something you wont see much in New England. We are USED to our players sucking. So get used to it and embrace it. BACK up your QB or you are in for a long run this year. I am telling you, that right now

the truth of it is if you boo your own quarter back, it is self destructive. Its kind of like punching yourself in the face. It hurts and makes you look bad. I say right now, if the fans had not booed Tavaris in that 2nd quarter, he would have been OK and the Vikes would have won.

This is Why you NEVER Show Off!

Best KO Ever. He got knocked the F out!

The Jets will Own the Pats This week

very sad. truly sad. I can't even muster a thought how terrible it is going to be.

Brett Favre trumps Cassell on experience, and TDs , and life period. I am envisioning the state of the NE secondary getting owned by Favre. Yuk. Perhaps its not true, but Cassell would have to suddenly turn into a miracle, which is not going to happen in 12mos or however many games he gets a chance to play. And how aweful do the Pats play against the Jets anyways? Pretty bad usually.

There are no words that can express this horrible horrible HORRIBLE realization!! Right now It kind of feels like when someone dies, and you just don't realize it yet, and then BAM! Your f-ed. Jets fans everywhere must be doing head spins on their carpets. This diagram shows exactly the state of every NE fan today.

Absolutely Devastating

I have never been a big Tom Brady fan, but losing him on the first game of the season does not bode well for this team. The first half looked sloppy before he went down, but WTF. I believe it when they say the Patriots are hung over from last season. If Brady is out, this will be a LOOOOONNNNG season with Matt Castle in the driving seat. I can see it now. This is going to suck.

John Lynch Cut Already??

Well that was fast! Too bad I really wanted to see him in that NE uniform. I love that guy. :( I guess he couldn't hang.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- John Lynch, the nine-time Pro Bowl safety signed by New England two weeks ago, was released Sunday.

"It goes without saying but John is an all-time great safety, one of the league's classiest professionals and his elite play speaks for itself," coach Bill Belichick said of Lynch, who turns 37 on Sept. 25. "As has been the case in other situations, I would not rule anything out down the road."

During their decade-long run of success, the Patriots have regularly signed veterans and often released them, only to sign them again if needed. Belichick's comments indicate Lynch may be in that category. He has played 15 seasons, 11 in Tampa Bay and four in Denver.

"I have no regrets about my time thus far with the Patriots," Lynch said in a statement released by the club. "The immense respect that I've long held for the organization has been only heightened over the past couple of weeks. I am going to keep all options open and look forward with excitement to see what the future brings."

New England signed Lynch after he was released by Denver early in training camp.

The Patriots also cut Chad Jackson, their second-round draft pick in 2006 from Florida. The wide receiver from Florida has been plagued by injuries, had 13 catches as a rookie and none last season when he played in only two games.

During the exhibition season, Jackson had seven catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns. His release could be a sign that Wes Welker, who missed the last exhibition game with a rib injury, is healthy enough to play in the season opener Sunday against Kansas City

ITS OFFICIAL: Guys REALLY like Football

Would You Give up Sex for the Entire Season If it Meant Your Team Would Win the Superbowl? Yeah. I would too.

According to this study done by areyourromantic.com:

"One in four men surveyed in a recent poll of sports fans would be willing to give up sex for at least a month if their favorite team were guaranteed a Super Bowl win."

LAKEVILLE, Pa., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire

This might just be another reason girls really don't like football all that much.(HHR do you have a video on that?) ;)

All my girlfriends love it. What is there not to love? You get to drink a lot, scream at inanimate objects, and eat really good but bad for you food. What is better then that? Not sex. Maybe sometimes.

I would trade my sex in for a superbowl win any day. I can always have sex afterwards. And that according to this study would be like the best sex ever. It is scientifically proven that men are better in the sack after their team wins a gamea€¦soooooooa€¦imagine when a guy's team win the superbowl? Ding-ding-ding. Thank you sir may I have another.

Me and the select few women aside, it really must suck for guys during the football season to have relationships, or maybe they just don't pay attention that their girlfriends are about to dump them, or even care. According to this study many girls think that their guys don't even know they are alive, and couldn't care lessa€¦which is probably true.

"Some said they felt left out of the fun, while one even stated: "I could be on fire in the room right next to him and he wouldn't notice." (Could you grab me a beer while you're up?) "

Sweet.

Some other quick stats for review:

Fifteen percent of men would give up sex for at least a whole football season for their team to win the Super Bowl. Of them, 11 percent would give it up, "for however long it takes!" (Side note: 15 NFL teams have never won the Super Bowl. Woe to the partners of those fans!)

Out of non-sports fans: a whopping 40 percent believe their partner would give up sex for at least a month if their team was guaranteed a Super Bowl win! And one in four thinks his or her partner would wait for however long it takes.

I don't like these sites suggestions on how to get a guys attention while watching a gamea€¦

" Instant replay - The next time your partner is watching a game, hit the pause button on your DVR and ask for just 15 minutes of his time. You can go for a walk, chat a little (or whatever else you happen to think of--wink, wink). It's just enough time to reconnect without having to miss a single play."

Ummm. Hello??? That is just asking to get slapped right there. In my opinion anyways.

Eli Manning poses for Men's Vogue? WTF.

Ok. I know this is the second blog about this guys looks, but this pose takes the cake. I can't get this image out of my head nowa€¦Look how mean he is TRYING desperately to look! It is terriblea€¦and he is wearing mousse..ewe. Everything about this picture makes me want to rush out immediately to the store, and find a copy of this so called men's vogue magazine. Once I get it in my hands I can find the rest of these ridiculous pictures, and paste them on the walls of all my NY Giants fans friends cubicles at work (including the president..no I don't care if I get fired)..just so they can bow their head in shame. Yes. The Giants won the Super Bowl, and yes Tom Brady IS a metro sexual, but Eli is a confirmed DORK! And these pics prove it. Lol.

Sorry NY.

Shilling's Blog Taken out of Context

I don't see how the media can take one paragraph out of an entire column and turn it around on the writer. That's allowed. However, these same media critics will go around talking about how blogging shouldn't be out there and blah-blah-blah. I mean they are using it as fodder for their stories! They can't get anything real themselves at this point. Soon, they won't even be able to do interviews anymore. The athlete will just say "go check out my blog a-hole". That is why I think Schilling's blog was used purposely against him.

Curt's blog was not entirely focused on Game 3 of the Lakers/Celtics. He talked about a lot of different things, which frankly were so interesting that it mattered little (to me) what he did mention about Kobe. Basically he just said he had no experience in basketball and couldn't believe the trash talking that went on. So Kobe told his teammates to step the f up. So what? The good stuff I really as a fan like to hear is his perspective; His perspective on his own teammates, and what they are doing, and thinking right now. What is their game plan for October? Regular people walking around don't know what it is like to be in the dugout, just like ball players don't know what it's like to sit in a cubicle all day. I really like Curt's blog. It seems pretty real to me, and he opens up a lot which makes me respect him more as a person and an athelete.

check it out if you have not already.

Well that was AWSOME!!!

I shut the game off at the half. I usually wake up early and go to the gym to keep my 'dumpy' butt from getting any dumpier. I was pretty depressed because the C's were just plain bad in the first half, and I saw no light at the end of that tunnel. I had also 'predicted' through YBN picks that the Celtics were going to bounce back this game, and like all girls, I hate being wrong. At the gym, I'm on the tread mill, and watching ESPN. I hear "the greatest comeback in history" and see a shot of Kobe Bryant flash across the screen. I am like DAMN IT! They are already rubbing it in. But just what was ESPN talking about?? Only the greatest comeback from behind in history..The Celtics taking destiny by the backside and just spanking that A$$ in the second half. I saw the highlight of Peirce falling over, and thought o-sh*t, they are done for. But that is when the Celts really got hot. Going forward, Pierce should just fall down in every game, maybe stub a toe or something even. Even though Pierce supposedly is less skilled then KG, I still believe he is the heart of that team. Love it! ;)

Sadly the Lakers, whom I was beginning to have some respect for, threw a huge hissy fit (Sash Vujigga who?-Jigga What?). I have never seen such an unmanly display in all my life.
