Jolinda Wade, mother of Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade received a special gift from her son, her very own church.. This article really touched me. Dwade has a very very big and beautiful heart. This made me venerate Dwyane even more.. he really is a person you can truly call an inspiration and a role model.. kudos to you Mr. Dwyane Wade 03. =)

in my 10 years bein a fan of the nba, never have i been so overwhelmed with emotion.. what they did out there during the day of service, made me respect each and every member of that organization even more. i felt their sincerity in wanting to help the people of new orleans that has been through a lot. i was soooo touched i cried my eyes out watching the players paint some houses down at 9th ward [i saw CP3, DWEST, KOBE, AMARE, LEBRON, JKIDD, GERALD GREEN, NASH, PIERCE], gave those kids a new playground and paint in laurel ELEM school [DWADE, MELO, AI, RAY ALLEN, CARON, BOOZER N DOMINIC WILKINS]. it was really nice of them to do that. giving back to the community. the little things they do, is appreciated by many [like me]. i hope they continue on doing that. they're good role models. i mean that. really... they are ATHLETES/ROLE MODELS/ PHILANTHROPISTS. i salute them. =)

grats to team san antonio, grats to DWILL and grats to jason kapono.. then there's the dunk contest. the best one since 2000.. GRATS TO DWIGHT! he brought back creativity in the dunk contest. he was in it to win it.. the superman dunk was the highlight of it all. that was something special. that was amazing! well imma give gerald green some love too. his BIRTHDAY CAKE dunk was great as well. but DWIGHT was the winner from the getgo..

I LOVED IT! twas exciting from start to finiish.. i loved it even more cause the EAST won. [not hating on the west. i love melo, ai, cp3, stat and brandon roy] but the east needed to win this one. u know they got beat REAL bad last year in VEGAS so they came here with a purpose.

CP3 played well so did brandon tho he missed that dunk. lol. RAY ALLEN. 3 straight treys!!! nuff said.. DWADE's 3pt play and that marvelous block on DIRK. im happy for him being with his peers just having fun and smiling.. leaving the pains and burdens even for just 3 days, in MIAMI. i TRULY admire him. he's special.. the foundation that he's built, all the charity he's done, the people that he has helped. mike bivins was right, DWADE is "the humanitarian, the community guy, THE GUY THAT CARES..."

and ofcourse the MVP Mr. LeBron James.. that dunk in the final stretch of the game is one of the top plays in ALL STAR game history. he willed the east team to win that game. he is absolutely amazing..

again, may i reiterate.. THIS IS THE BEST ALL STAR WEEKEND EVER!!!!

congrats to the starters for the upcoming 2008 NBA All Star game in the big easy.. im sooooo happy for 5 of my favorite players for getting the nods from other NBA fans. grats to dwade, lebron, carmelo, dwight and AI. ya'll deserve it.. (yes. dwade deserves that starting spot. even tho the heat aint having a good season)

i am really happy for my fave players melo, dwade and lebron. those three are amongst the leading vote getters for the upcoming 2008 allstar game in the big easy.. my other fave dwight "big snappy fingers" is leading all centers in the east. Chris paul is currently 7th in the vote standings in the G position. man its tough cause he got competition in KB24, Tmac, A.I. and stevie.. the 3rd returns are out and here are mah boys current votes:

totally unrelated but i just want to get it out....

i am soooooo sad with the way miami's season is turning out. its hard watching their games right now. shaq is still out, j-dubb, dorell and now dwade. its been frustrating.. =(

but we heat fans should keep our heads up and cheer on for miami. we should stick together, them players should too. GO HEAT!

for my other team, wooohoooo go nuggets. way to go guys! keep it up. their defense is off the hook. its on another level.. and the starting five is phenomenal. they should stick with it. carter-iverson-anthony-martin-camby. i say one of the best if not the best starting five in the L right now. everybody is contributing be it in offense or defense. GO NUGGETS!

imma be looking forward to this game later. round 1, the knicks got the W. so i know them nuggets guys will take care of business at home and punish the knicks to make it equal.

the first one was much anticipated coz we all know what happened in msg december of last year. melo and jr got an unfriendly reception from the knicks crowd, i bet ya the nuggets fans will do the same with the knicks when they come in the rockies.
