Guys, I know we all want that #1 receiver, and i'm one of those guys who still wants one, but if we don't get one, look how good of a position we are in this year. Okay, were def. going to the playoffs, 11-5 to a 13-3 team is what we'll be. Now we don't know if deseans gonna break out or reggie's gonna break out or whatever, but even if we don't win the super bowl, this won't be a bust. We're a young team so those guys will get some good playoff experience. nabby will get back there after three years out of it, and who knows, maybe we can get a super bowl, but in case we don't: we see who develops. if we have a stud at lb, or trevor laws is really good, or if desean and reggie breakout like i said, who knows. but i think we sit tight with our offense as it is, and head into next year an experienced team with 2 first rounders. maybe we try to steal big roy away from the lions, or we get crabtree or ano-lineman or a safety, but the thing is, we are in a great position. i think mcnabb getting a new taste of the playoffs will help, keep him around next year and give him crabtree or roy, and then 09 will be our year, definetly!!!

I really like the D this year, and the thing i think we gained the most was depth. We got Jevon Kearse back (chris Clemons) cuz that's all he ever was, a speed rusher who sucks against the run, But I think Clemens will be decent against the run but he's not here for that. He'll get to the quarterback, and he has no health problems (opposite of jevon who i did love) and i think he was the steal of free agency. trevor laws adds much needed depth to the d-tackles. I hear Howards in great shape and i think he could contribute. I believe mcdougle will get cut, tough break for a good guy. Bryan smith has drawn comparisons to trent cole.Joe mays and studebaker are looking like solid ballplayers. Bradley, gocong, gaither, and jordan are a good linebacker corp with boman behind them. Bunk and patterson are solid up front. Backfield is loaded w/ sheppard, brown, samuel, and hanson is pretty good as well. Dawk has the right mindset after his problems with his premature twin daughters, and he looks great and ready. Plus we got Q, J.R. Reed, and considine, oh and quintin demps. But My guy is trent cole. He can do it all. Spped rush, bull rush, solid against the run, picked off eli a year back, this man is a stud, and he's only getting better. When you listen to him talk, he was dissapointed w/ last year. he thought he should've had more sacks! He will this year, because he played almost every snap last year. with more rest his production will not drop later in they year. I love how he does everything, he had 12.5 sacks, 70-100 tackles(some say 100, others say 70, but both are good) 4 forced fumbles, he's the star of the line. I love this D and we have great depth. I think we will have a giants-like pass rush this year, with a loaded secondary which they didn't have. Lito and Asante will be in Heaven. By the way, I forgot to mention abiamari and Juqua Parker, two key parts of the line. I hear Victor is ready to step up big time.

According to PFT and John Clayton on ESPN, Chris Henry is being allowed to visit teams, and one team may be interested in him. I hope it's not the cowboys, because if the guy's on the field he's terrific, but that's a big if. I could just imagine him and pacman going into a strip club and shooting up the place! But pacman will just frame someone again. Anyway, I hope the eagles stay away from this guy, because he's trouble.

Hey if we don't get a wideout, I think this is a guy we will target in next years draft, even though andy likes his big ol' lineman. I've heard about him being a system receiver, but I checked him out and his #'s are ridiculous, even though texas tech throws the ball like 80% of the time. Here's his stats: 134 catches,1962 yards, and 22td's. That's ridiculous.Almost every game the guy gets like 10-15 catches and over 100 yards. He's a great athlete (Bobby Knight asked him if he wanted to play basketball or football, he chose football) he gets YAC, he can get the jumpball, go deep, anything. If we can't get him with carolinas pick, we should package up and get him. Just watched the video. Did you know theres a "crank that Crabtree" about him and texas tech? it's hysterical, and and Crabtree is crazy, let's hope the lions don't pick before us cuz millen won't be able to resist. What i liked most was his YAC, and how he always fights for extra yards. it also seemed like everytime he had 3-4 guys around him and he was still get big gains. This guy's a freak and will be amazing one day.

"I hope i can stay here in Philly for about 5-6 more years"-donovan mcnabb. Yeah I hope you can too. I believe Mcnabb is a top 5 quarterback WHEN HEALTHY, but he's not injury prone by any means. When you surround him with a good reciever, what do you get. 30+ td's, less than 10 ints'. first ever QB to do so, and a trip to the super bowl. When you surround him with a decent reciever (Stallworth) you get an MVP type season and a 95.6 passer rating. All those years he never had a reciever and he led us to the playoffs every year. He's as close to a one man team as it gets. He can do it all, run, pass, whatever we need. even last year our TE went down, and we're left with reggie brown and kevin curtis, who have trouble getting off presses, he still posts a 90.0 passer rating. now these guys can be good, with a great surrounding cast. If we insert Korn on the Kob, we will need an amazing line and recievers. I like Kolb, kid put up good #'s, but Mcnabb is way better and will be for 5-6 more years. He'll never be as good as Mcnabb, and everyone seems to think he'll be our QB next year. The thing is, he's not a playmaker, and he'll need a line to block and good recievers to get the ball to, and a b-west type player. Mcnabb never had that, he made plays without anyone, and made terrible recievers (pinkston anyone?) look like somewhat decent ones. keep mcnabb until he loses his mobility, get him a decent reciever, and i believe he can take the eagles to the promised land.

Desean Jackson is gonna be an amazing player one day. he is so quick and gets great seperation and runs great routes, it would be a crime to only use him as a return man. I know about his 4.3 speed or whatever, but he looks faster in pads. Can't wait to see him on the field

according to someone on prosportsdaily forums, the eagles have a trade in place with the bengals on june 1st, so the bengals don't have that salary cap hit. The deal is sheppard and carolinas pick for johnson. hope it's true but will believe it when i see it. Just provided the link. Now I don't know if this guys dad is cenial or if this guy wants to mess with everyone, but I would not be suprised if it happened, or if it didn't.
