What I mean by that...:
FIVERINGS aka LLoyd W who sits at his computer all day, bc his family is too embarrassed to actually spend time with him. So sad, your children who are older than 90% of those on this site must be SO proud, Mr. Wheeler....
What I hate...:
60 year old men who have nothing better to do with their lives than HARASS those a 1/3 of their age because their lives are so pathetic.

Mendenhall nearly QUIT FOOTBALL?!?

Wow, I was shocked to read this on PFT.com a minute ago...I wonder what this could mean for the future, if anything at all. Id be interested to see some fans take on this....

Boldin says "Unsure if he will attend training camp"

So Anquan says hes not sure if he'll be attending training camp. Even MORE interesting is the typo at the end of the article that suggests that Boldin is already a Philadelphia Eagle....Strange but funny...Does Florio know something we dont know? haha.

Eagles BEST "draft pick" LORENZO BOOKER!?!?!?

Ok so I was listening to this interview with Angelo Cataldi on WIP with new Eagle Lorenzo Booker. Theres been alot of talk on the impact he is likely to have with the Eagles this upcoming season. Booker is basically our 4th round draft pick this year, with the benefit of having a year of NFL experience under his belt. This guy could be exactley what the Eagles offense needs and I think his impact will be truly amazing with the way he seems to fit with the Eagles offensive scheme. This kids talent and potential with this offense is literally shy high...Heres a stat for you... In his senior year in high school, he amassed over 3000 total yards and 50 touchdowns. Yes thats not a misprint, 50 touchdowns his SENIOR SEASON ALONE. Granted comparing high school to the NFL is like comparing Reno Mahe to Devin Hester, but that shows the AMAZING talent this kid has. He has great quicknes, speed, attitude, and HANDS. Maybe the best hands Ive seen from a running back as far back as I can remember. I truly believe this trade/draft pick will prove to be one of, if not THE most important move the Eagles made this offseason. Check out his interview on WIP and tell me this kid does not excite you and get your mind running with possibilities for next year and years to come....and yes 50 TOUCHDOWNS and over 3000 yards in HIS SENIOR SEASON in HS. UNREAL!!! Let me know what you guys think....Click it for the interview...Bark it up!!!!

JUNE 1ST!?!?

NO, theres no "factual article" attached to this post. No, I dont have a "hunch" or "inside information" about anything that may happen on or before June 1st. But I do have a FEELING that June 1st will come and go without ANYTHING happening, so my question is, will it then stop? Will all this pointless, bored at work (or bored in your parents basement), waste of time chatter about selling the farm for an over 30, trouble making WR actually stop? I surely can't see that happening. Hell, I thought this would all be over after DAY ONE of the draft. Shows how much I know, and it also shows how much ANYBODY KNOWS who isnt in the teams select few in their FO. I really just cant see the Eagles giving up as much as is being mentioned (a #1, and Lito seems to be the deal of late) to aquire a whining, over 30 WR. Now if it were a Roy or Anquan deal, that would be a completely different story, but thats obviously beating a dead horse. Those two probably arent going anywhere. So with our only option of aquiring a true #1 reciever being to "sell the farm" for Chad Johnson, I say keep Lito happy or not, and play football. Lets forget about this sick obsession with a no. 1 reciever, and if all you Eagles fans who actually want Johnson, actually GET him...than you can dance. I certainly wont be dancing. Until then, lets seriously chill with the "guarantees" about who we will get and how it will happen when you know absolutely NOTHING more than any other daily barker. At this point, your just making real Eagles fans look like that annoying guy at the bar who sets his sights on one"victim" until she leaves, then moves on to the next, and next, and at 2:00am just says F-IT and ends up leaving with a run down tranny and hopes noone will find out. I dont wanna be "that guy". EVER.

LITO takes the HIGH ROAD...

I really think it is a GREAT sign that Lito showed up at the NovaCare Complex yesterday. Lito is NOT T.O. Did you ever here ONE negative thing that LITO actually said? Of course not, thats NOT Lito. Showing up at the NovaCare Complex with a SMILE on his face during these hard times IS Lito. I sure hope everything works out, and Lito STAYS an EAGLES for seasons to come...CLICK IT

Eagles FO says LITO to JAX "news to us"....

This is getting ridiculous, but Ill post this anyway....Actually I hope this is true, seeing as to how "a package of draft picks for next year" isnt gonna help us this year...

QUENTIN DEMPS...I believe...Do YOU????

I'm listening to the Quentin Demps conference call on Philadelphiaeagles.com, and I LOVE this kids attitude. If you havent heard the conference call yet, do yourself a favor and listen to it. I just love his attitude and confidence, and if you watch his workouts on the website, he sure looks the part too. I gotta admit, I didnt know a whole lot about him before the draft....heard a few things but I was high on Dajuan Morgan so didnt really look into it much. Anyway, check out the site if you haven't already, and let me know what you think of this kid, I love the potential.....

Looks like the Madden curse is going to be broken seeing as to how the guy doesnt play in the league anymore. Thank God it wasnt Westbrook....

CHRISTIAN VARNER?!? Mini- Dawkins gets NO recognition???

I once heard (from a guy who knows a lot more about football than me) a guy talking about how his Maryland Terrapins had an absolute BEAST of a safety who was flying under the radar as far as the draft is concerned. I had pretty much blown the comment off (seeing as to how this guy is a life time Terrapins fan and just thought he was praising one of his former alumni) but at the same time realized this guy knows his stuff. t hadnt been until recently that I read an article someone had posted in the Yard (Sorry dont remember who it was) and it was about Varner and included an awesome hit tape. Thats when I realized who this kid was and boy was "that guy" who would brag about "his Terrapins Safety" right, this kids a beast among men. Not only was he not invited to the combine, it looks as if most experts dont even THINK THIS KID IS DRAFTABLE?!?!? because I cant find a damn thing on him, not even stats or so much as a listing on NFL.com or ESPN.com Im honestly SHOCKED on this one, he looks smaller but is listed at 5'11 and 205lbs. but he plays like a pissed off linebacker on steroids. Maybe thats his problem, a liability in coverage. But can it be THAT BAD that it drops this kid the WHOLE WAY out of the draft? Theres no way....I pray the Eagles take notice (they seem to have a thing for drafting safeties that cant cover anyway) and snatch this kid up, I dont care how early, I mean hes not a 1st or 2nd rounder but somewhere in the middle, hes worth a chance. His upside is the sky.

If the EAGLES stay at no. 19????????

Ok, so, as an Eagles fan, I sure have ideas on top of ideas about who the Eagles should take in round 1. But then the scnarios start creeping into my mind....a.)f you what if they trade LITO? b.) what if they trade up/down? c.) WHAT IS THE FRONT OFFICE THINKING?? ETC...So what I ask of you as Eagles fans is...Let's just say for heck of it that the Eagles stay at no. 19. I wanna know who you would like to take if you were in the front office that day...try to be within reason, IT IS AT PICK NO.19, so I dont want to see us taking Jake Long but its ok to dream a LITTLE. :) Thanks guys and ALL input is WELCOME!!!!

New MOCK DRAFT by Jared360 (let's hope for the EAGLES sake)

I know they're everywhere. I think about it when I work, when I'm at the gym, and when I'm sleeping, (for the sake of this article, I'll pretend work and sleep are 2 different things). No, you won't find any bla bla bla'ing about Chad Johnson, or Roy Williams here(would I take either one, absolutely) but thats not why I'm here today. Anyway it's what's on everyones mind this time of year and yes, it's the draft. I must have gone through this a thousand times in my head, on paper, on my computer etc. Ive done so much amatuer "research" I should be in somebodys war room (its a joke you dont have to destroy me in the comments for THAT comment...;) But I've decided on my final tweaks and "last minute adjstments, and I present to you, my, Draft 08 with a little "explanation" if you will next to each pick. I hope you all enjoy and be sure to tell me what you think! If theres things you agree/disagree with let me know who you'd like your team to pick instead of mine! I would like everyone to know, that although I bleed green and the Eagles are my life, the NFL in general is my life and I appreciate/research all teams and players. I will be as fair and balanced as I can and show no disrespect towards ANY team (unless they deserve/ask for it ...:) I would like to hear ALL your opinions, regardless of team(NFC East fans more than welcome, yes including Cowboys fans!) and am truly interested in hearing who YOU want on YOUR team and what you think of my pics. ALL FANS WILL ALWAYS BE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COMMENT ANYTHING I POST, its just cmon guys, disagreeing and stating your opinions are fine thats what I want from ALL fans, but trashing posts and just being mean is not needed here, us fans are better and smarter than that. Lets get some good imout from ALL fans!! Thanks guys!! Less than 1 week and counting.....!!!

1. Miami Dolphins: Jake Long, T, Michigan Absolute beast, safest pick in draft

2. St. Louis Rams: Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU Need D-line help, may go for C.Long here

3. Atlanta Falcons: Matt Ryan, QB, Boston College Falcons need a QB, look for this pick to be

traded if theyre not convinced

4. Oakland Raiders: Chris Long, DE, Virginia If he's here, they wont pass, although I believe a

a bit too much hype and rather Gholston

5. Kansas City Chiefs: Vernon Gholston, DE, Ohio State Best pass rusher in draft, Chiefs need

all kinds of help, too much talent to pass

6. New York Jets: Darren Mcfadden, RB, Arkansas Perfect fit for Jets, Arguabley best back in

draft, T. Jones has been a disapointment

7. New England Patriots: Leodis Mckelvin, CB, Troy Fast, smart, cover corner who has added

value as a talented returner as well

8. Baltimore Ravens: Brandon Albert, G/T, Virginia With Alberts stock sky rocketing, the Ravens

need young talent on the O-line and this guy

could make an immediate impact

9. Cincinatti Bengals: Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC Beast of a DT who the Bengals will pounce

on if here at No. 9 for immediate help on D line

10. New Orleans Saints: Ryan Clady, OT, Boise St. Talented yet a bit raw the Saints can try to

mold into a franchise tackle in the NFL.

11. Buffalo Bills: Jeff Otah, OT, Pitt Could be swapped with previous pick, also a bit

raw but huge guy who has huge possibilities

12. Denver Broncos: Chris Williams, OT, Vanderbilt Many experts say best OT in the draft, Big

guy who moves incredibly fast for his size,

perfect fit in Denvers zone blocking scheme

13. Carolina Panthers: Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida Carolina loves their pass- rushers and this is

exactly that. A speedy and dominant rusher,

could be a liability against run in NFL but theyll

take that chance, and so would most others

14. Chicago Bears: Dominique Rodgers-Comrartie, CB Tenn State Great corner with lots of

raw talent who has great size and can also

be a threat in the return game

15. Detroit Lions: Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois Powerful and fast, some say better upside

than Mcfadden(not me) after releasing Kevin

Jones(where is he) theyll surely take if there

16. Arizona Cardinals: Phillip Merling, DE, Clemson Somewhat injury hampered throughout his col

career, when healthy he terrorizes O linemen

17. Minnesota Vikings: Keith Rivers, LB, USC Big, Powerful, Smart and a WINNER this guy

knows how to win, and will be in the NFL a while

18. Houston Texans: Mike Jenkins, CB, S. Florida Another talented cover corner who is fast

and also a dual threat with his return skills.

19. Philadelphia Eagles: Devin Thomas, WR, Mich St. Safest WR pick of draft, solid hands, played

in college like a pro, if the Eagles stay at 19 and

this guy makes it here, Id imagine theyd go for it.

Look for a crazy day with their 11 picks and

also look for a trade up to try to snag an OT

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas Gee ANOTHER talented CC who is fast,

can jump, and has size. Hitting the bowl right

the draft may hurt his stock...can also return

21. Washington Redskins: Desean Jackson, WR, Cal Not saying I agree with the pick, this guy

sure is a burner but with that size I just dont see

him as a 1st rd guy. That being said the Skins are

always looking to add a playmaker....

22. Dallas Cowboys: Felix Jones, RB, Arkansas The "other guy" from Arkansas that has as

much skills and upside as any back in the draft,

playmaker the Cowboys will snag with their RB

situation.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers: Gosder Cherilus, T, Boston Col. I think the Steelers will grab the best O

linemen on the board to groom after losing

Faneca in Free Agency.

24. Tennessee Titans: Limas Sweed, WR, Texas One of the bigger top WR prospects

whose dealt with injuries, but has the size and

hands to be a WR in the NFL.

25. Seattle Seahawks: Jonathan Stewart, RB, OR Big, tough back who isnt afraid to fight for

extra yards yet has speed as well.

26. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jerod Mayo, LB, Tenn. Fast strong LB with good football IQ, could

make an immediate impact on Jags D.

27. San Diego Chargers: Kenny Phillips, S, Miami Best safety in the draft, a bit raw but has the

build and instinct to be a pro bowl safety.

28. Dallas Cowboys: Malcolm Kelly, WR, Okla Another big, talented WR, and with the Dallas

WR corps being talented but aging, look for them

to take if hes still here when they pick.

29. San Francisco 49ers: Kentwan Balmer, DT, N.C. Niners still need help on that defense and a

quality DT at the end of round one should be

a relatively easy pick for them.

30. Green Bay Packers: Quentin Groves, DE/LB Aub. One of the best pass rushers in the draft,

just not 100% what pos. hell best fit in NFL

31. New England Patriots: CHEATERS

32. New York Giants: Antoine Cason CB, Arizona Im not sure hell still be here, and I dont think

the Giants are "going after" a CB in the first,

if hes here, too hard to pas on this guy.

Ok so there it was guys! Believe it or not, A LOT of work went into all my revisions but I hope you Enjoy and please lemme know what you like/dislike or who you might want your team to take instead of my pick! Thanks!
