Seneca Wallace, former Iowa State star making his first start in his 4th NFL season, threw 3 touchdowns and put his team in a position to win with a 49 yard TD pass that put Seattle ahead 28-27 late in the game. Unfortunately the lack of a defense led to Seattle losing. Wallace did an admirable job considering Shaun Alexander did not play.

Also of note is another former Iowa State QB, Sage Rosenfels, came in to relieve David Carr and threw 3 2nd half TDs.
