The moderate controversy that occured when Girardi close-doored the team harshly Thursday Night might have translated/factored in a solid effort against the nemesis today, the Red Sox, in a gritty game. QUESTION all? What's your take on GIRARDI'S PERFORMANCE thus far in the most stressful sports market going? And pile that on leading the NYC token franchise, the NYYankees. Simple, but for all MLB fans who are even a little curious about this rivalry. One of the biggest managing jobs/Coaching gigs going. Does team miss Torre?

A free for all NBA fans. Posey is a proven clutch-time winner and leader. We all saw a bench player really help decide key playoff games/moments during Boston's playoff grind towards something special. Posey has some special glue along with his game that helps a team's chemistry. Enough said. Meggette is more of a true blue chip talent who has languished on a terrible FO Clippers team. Corey had a real solid season. He can play defense, rebound, pass. I still don't know if CM has Posey-like intangibles is the wild card. This C's fan wants both, in a perfect world.

Ex-Pat OLB Rosy Colvin, injury prone since Chicago, is still an above average LB with classic OLB pass rush abilities and is decent in coverage, given if that foot healed right. Colvin seems to have fallen off the map. Colvin is versatile in both 3-4 and 4-3 sets. Some fans and FO's must be looking from afar. Who wants/needs him?

As all Celts fans have been focused on this truly amazing regular season, given no matter what happens in the real second season, I sense that there is the rarest of leaders, who the other eleven have given the "complete heart&soul" to, and effort for, Mr. KGarnett. When this trade transpired, I had little knowledge of KG as a person or leader from up near Fargo(movie reference). Well, it's been a pleasant surprise observing his electric court presence. This intense player and future Hall of Famer has all the characteristics of the consumate hoop leader: display, by necessary action/emotional spark, constant poise in game rough spots that has a contageous effect, the ability to be a court coach who immensely helps re-direct tempo, use contructive criticism in positive ways to teammates, charges like a bull when Defense is breaking down to inspire the whole arena really, sacrifices individual stats to get all involved in flow, and if you have seen season-long interviews with Pierce post-game, KG is a calm soft-spoken leader with an edge and intelligence of how the game really is. Pierce summed KG up recently: KG has changed the whole mindset of whole organization. The ultimate compliment. I hope he keeps the magical mojo to late June.

The NE franchise is in shambles. Senator Specter and his hearings will be approaching, then the nation waits for official witness call up and verdict. Robert Kraft and what he built has to be pain-stakingly rebuilt if allegations are true. I defend Kraft as a first class owner who has done alot for the League over his tenure. I'm sure Mr. Kraft was in the dark during these alleged shenanigans, as his Front Office and Coaches ran roughshod, via 7 years of alleged cheating, and therefore, he needs to do the following: 1. legally interview all front office staff who could have played hand in "cheating plan" to weed out the appropriate bad apples. 2. interview all the players over those alleged years and determine if the information benefited individual play, and immediately release those players still on team who admit such, including Brady. 3. as basic as this article is, I'm just one NE fan in a cesspool of NE dysfunction now, immediately fire the whole coaching staff and bring in whole new coaching regime. Simple points here, as I'm not privy to NFL or Senate information/evidence. The main Point: these 3 basic steps, if NE is found guilty going back to 2001, must be acted on quickly as it will take quite awhile to realize the original dream Mr. Kraft had when he bought this team in the 1990's.

This is for all NFL fans. Please think objectively, and break it down complete in your mind. Do most NFL fans have absolute hatred (a strong word to use), or is it the jealousy/envy factor that fuels the season long NE bashing up to this point? Try to be rational and keep it somewhat (yea, right) clean.

Does LT get his revenge at Gillette this weekend and get to do a victory dance on midfield Pats logo?, as a sweet gesture to Ellis Hobbs and Co. from 2006 Playoff game. Does the all-pro get to stick it to NE, whom he despises? we'll find out soon.

To be the best, NE has to BEAT THE BEST. The NE fans and media know that, as well as the 53. The most physical team in league, fresh off a gritty win in PITT, is JAX, who comes-a-calling to the Razor this Saturday night. Regional tension is building, as NE fans fully understand the powerful foe the team is facing. The final result in Pittsburgh was not as close score indicated. JAX quietly wore out the depleted PITT defense by the mid-fourth. Both teams are good to where they can play both Half-Physical and Half-Finesse styles. For being known as a purely physical crew, JAX can make the big pass play and NE runs as needed. Whoever is better on adapting on the fly, will win.

For a split second, allright, maybe 3 seconds, the thought of Landing "Johan, the lefty change-up throwing assasin" Santana, gets this Red Sox fan "garnettified". Of course, Santana would command around 23-25 million/yr. Garnett makes the chingaling too, let's be real. Herein lies the avoidance of Salary envy by new/existing teammates, the key will be, if trade happens, chemistry with the pitching staff. I feel ok if transaction comes to fruition, as we depart with Jacoby, either way, by this one simple statement from Beckett "I could care less about the money, but I'll be pitching opening day". Now Folks, that is both a blunt and clubhouse tension defusing statement from your ace. It was a beautiful quote. The question remains, do you get trade the Damon proptotype while keeping one eye on the next ten years, or do you do what a team with the 2nd highest payroll would probably opt to do? Get Johan and succeed in keeping all your young arms.

The Ravens are having fireworks and wearing all black tomorrow night. We, in New England, are in dire need of another statement game, due to the constant barrage, from most of the nation, week after week, about how we are not as advertised. The darling Cowboys are the annointed ones now. We are glad that we are no longer the favored team to get there and prevail. We just need to stay the course, while making huge statements going down the stretch. My motive here is not to talk all this smack, but get as many opinions, from all fans, how you truly see NE as a team. Most of you, I full well know, hate us with a passion. I want you guys/gals to step outside of your hatred and be objective in how you really feel about how good we are at this stage. I'm not saying we are going to roll over everyone at all, but give some solid feedback and rate us now in week 13. Everyone, please break us down in all three aspects of game, etc. How do you really view Brady as a QB? Please breakdown our Defense, especially. We have concerns there, trust me. And remember, be objective and avoid the slamming.
