I also like Obama.

i feel you little mama. good luck and god bless

Dontrelle, I love how much you're hanging out in the Yard!

Keep it up, D!

yeah im not much of a online guy but its cool to see what fans and players have to say

You're quickly becoming an online guy. Fans are going to love you even more for doing stuff like this.

Now all you have to do is beat the Red Sox! Go easy on my O's, though.

Obama is great.

He is quite the candidate.

Oh God good no! I can't believe you're an Obama girl!

Mit Romney For Emperor

A political plug in the yard?

Obama for president!!! I've been saying it for a year or so

i can dig that...

I don't like Obama, but if it will get us to bomb Pakistan.... (just kidding)

A really refreshing ad is the new one from McCain (another candidate I don't support). The jist of it is he lists off all the groups he's pissed off in DC and that he went there do do what's right, not make friends.

Sorry, I like Hillary..I've always been a Bill fan too..

Of course, My plan is we have Hillary with Obama VP for 8 years, and then Obama can take it for the next 8 years. ;)

Diana--thank you! Obama is akin to RFK...let's hope the story doesn't end the same way it did for Bobby in June of '68 in LA.

Atleast he's democrat...

Oh dear God, here we go.... Now I know why I'm a registered Independent. Dee, at least you picked someone from my home state, Illinois baby! Obama was in the General Assembly back in the day.....

Obama rules! He's definitely got my vote in the upcoming election...

While my brother actually works for the Romney campaign I must say I am a fan of Obama. Sshhh...

Mandih23...I heard that :O
I have Obamas books if you care to read them you know where to find me ;)

Bill Clinton is a genius and hero, yet Obama inspires me more than Hillary. Iowa should shed some light on things. As one who wants the Democratic nominee to win, go Clinton and Huckabee in the primary.
Dee, Mandi, Caune, and all my friends: remember 01/20/09...the end of an error!

Somehow I knew once I hit that submit button that you were going to be responding to me! ;) But I still don't have to listen to Dixie Chicks!! :)

I worked as a Illinois Senate Aide for a few years and crossed paths quite a few times with Obama. Unlike the majority of politicians at the State level, he came across as caring of the common man's problem and was very personable.

As for Romney, I go to med school with many Mormons and this country is more ready for a black or woman president than it is a Mormon president. Mormons are not Christians as much as Mitt tries to pull it off.

Obama is a common man, an inspiring man, and a man who can bring respect back to the office of President of the United Staes...what's not to love?

Oh D, you really should vote Libertarian.

i like winners.

*cough Hillary cough* Granted, she's not kicking their asses anymore..it's been reduced to a butt kicking..
;)

Never said I was anti-Clinton. I mean, Hillary - just said I wasn't going to vote for the Librarians.

LOL, I was picking on your choice of Obama a bit...(just joking)

Either one will work...it's gonna make a whole lot of rich old white men squirm..

yeah, they'll prolly win in '08.

okay, that one bit me in the ass...I know it's not over..quite yet, but I should have known better than to go against your choice..you tend to win. ;)

Obama is no worse than most Repubilcrats and Demublicans (the Corporate Party with two factions), but i am going to vote for whoever the Green Party nominates. I am just way beyond sick and tired of the Republicrats and Demublicans.

Well, I understand where you are going with that, and I respect that, but you should know that this nation is destined to follow the lead of your native land, which just elected a female president known by one name who is married to a former president. There are many parallels between Hillary and Cristina, aka Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, the wife of Néstor Kirchner. Although I will say that Cristina is more attractive than Hillary, but that really should not matter, now, should it? :-D Still, Obama is following the lead of Deval Patrick, who was elected governor of Massachusetts with the same campaign themes, i.e. "hope" and taglines such as "Together We Can" and "No Ordinary Leader." However, Deval Patrick has definitely experience some rough patches since taking office. Personally, I would go with Ron Paul or whomever the Libertarian candidate is if Paul is not involved, but none of that really matters.

Okay, so the site's filters don't like accents. Therefore, I will write out the words as they should appear in order; you can put the accents in mentally:

Fernandez, Nestor, anadir, politicas, mas, informacion, exitos, opinion, posicion.

Sorry for the extra post; I will have a word with the YardBarker people on the inclusion of accents. :-D

Feeling you D. Thanks for putting this up. I think this election may very well demonstrate how the Internet can facilitate the type of populism that Obama is promoting in his campaign message: that it doesn't necessarily matter if we all agree, just that we become involved in the process and involved in the conversations.

yessir...!

Hey Diana, how's the luggage situation? I hope you get your bags back!

Diana, if u read this, I think u should know that "netta11" ^^ [the #1 fan of u] is talking about you every day!!! (& all daylong :P)
and if u be in Israel sometime, ull need 2 meet her.. trust me.. :P
I don't really know how 2 say it.. amm :S briefly, Netta te quiero mucho , Aprecio cada paso tuyo , y de verdad .. si estas por zona .. encontrate con ella.. :D
have a good day..!!

Diana I completely agree with you...OBAMA '08

I don't know if he's, "that dude". But, he has alway impressed me as a great speaker. For inspiration, I tracked down the speech that introduce of to Obama.. The 2004 Democratic National Convention Keynote Address.

Luv him too....but as long as HC leads in the polls, I'm going with the winner. I'm wishing for the double-double (HC as prez with O as vice prez) - unbeatable ticket. But not at all sure it can happen. And while I love librarians, I wouldn't vote for one either this go-'round :)

I doubt Obama would want to be VP. I'd rather have Obama, guy. HC's husband signed NAFTA, and my town appreciates that, losing 6,000 factory jobs to Mexico. I know Bush is horrible, but I don't want anymore free trade, because my job is a prime candidate for outsourcing.

a thread about your "endorsement" of Obama for you to read in your spare time becauae lurking while people discuss you has gotta be tons of fun ;)

DT - your boy just won Iowa, with Edwards 2nd and Clinton 3rd for the Dems. "Huckleberry" won on the GOP side (that is SCARY!). Maybe this is the momentum Obama needs going into NH in five days.....if so, he seems like a national lock for the final nomination. How 'bout that? :)

I love obama!
I cant wait until he takes office!
:)
