Top rising prospect  Ashton “H2O” Sylve (11-0, 9 KOs) will face Lucas “Prince” Bahdi (16-0, 14 KOs) in a 10-round lightweight fight that’ll be on the Jake Paul vs Mike Perry card in Tampa, FL on July 20th.

Sylve, 20, was originally slated to face Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield. But an injury to Schofield forced him out of the fight. He was originally suppose to fight on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson undercard but that fight got delayed due to Tyson’s ulcer flaring up.

“I’ve been training hard for a fight on Saturday, July 20. I’m thrilled to still be able to get in the ring as originally planned,'” said Sylve. “My opponent may have changed, but the result will be the same: I will get the W and continue my path to greatness.”

Bahdi has scored three consecutive knockouts and last fought on June 1, when he secured a fourth-round TKO against Jose Luis Rodriguez.

Father thinking title shot

Ivan Sylve the father of Ashton believes that his son should be mentioned as a top contender in a loaded lightweight division.

“They are lining up people on credible outlet] and H20’s name isn’t mentioned,” Ivan said. “Come on, he’s better than all these guys. Abdullah Mason, he’s good. I like the kid, but he’s not a 10-round fighter. You can’t mention him and my son at the same time. When Abdullah or Emiliano Vargas is not a 10-round fighter. My son is moving into contender status, moving into championship status. Sooner or later, we will get those fights, but they are still at six-round fights. I think my son’s name should be mentioned with everybody, with the Frank Martins.”
