With the firing of former UNLV head basketball coach Kevin Kruger, the Runnin’ Rebels have been busy this offseason.

Not only did they bring former Memphis and Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner on board to lead the team, but Pastner has finally unveiled his coaching staff for the 2025-26 basketball season.

Pastner went to work almost immediately in building not only his staff but his team to fill in the gaps left by some of his star players who entered the transfer portal.

No great roster thrives without a great coaching staff. On Thursday, Pastner officially introduced his coaching staff.

Associate head coach Scott Garson, Assistant coach Anthony Wilkins, Assistant coach Justin Hawkins, Director of strategy and analytics Hayden Sheridan, and Director of basketball operations DeShawn Henry.

Pastner took the time to comment of every member of his new staff and spoke highly of each of them.

“This coaching staff brings a diverse range of experiences and skills that will be critical for our program’s growth and success,” Pastner said.

Pastner continued, “Their energy and tireless work ethic will be key as we continue to construct our roster and prepare for the 2025-26 season and beyond. I believe we have put together an outstanding group of coaches that will foster an environment where our players will thrive as student-athletes and well as individuals as we compete for conference championships and NCAA Tournament berths.”
