In a thrilling preview of the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, NCAA March Madness shared Andy Katz’s bracket predictions on X, generating significant buzz among college basketball fans.

The announcement showcases Katz, a veteran NCAA.com correspondent and longtime college basketball analyst, selecting the Auburn Tigers as his national champion prediction.

Katz’s bracket, displayed alongside his confident image, predicts the Tigers cutting down the nets after a dominant run through the tournament.

Katz has the Tigers, positioned as the top seed, navigating a challenging path to the Final Four and defeating Maryland. Katz then has the Tigers ultimately beating Duke in the National Championship game.

Katz’s faith in the Tigers reflects their consistent performance and star power, spearheaded by players like Wooden Award contender Johni Broome and freshman sensation Tahaad Pettiford.

The bracket also features some intriguing surprises, such as three 10-seeds winning their opening games (Arkansas, New Mexico, Vanderbilt), and Maryland reaching the Final Four. However, Auburn’s championship selection stands out as the centerpiece. Katz’s prediction aligns with the Tigers' SEC dominance, as detailed in his January and February bracket projections, where the conference’s strength bolstered the Tigers’ case.

Fans can engage in the madness by making their own brackets via the NCAA’s Bracket Challenge Game, as Katz urged in the post. With Katz's championship selection stirring up lots of debate, it will be interesting to see how the Tigers' March Madness fate pans out.
