With basketball season approaching, we will have you covered regarding all of the new players on the rosters around Western Pennsylvania.

However, before we get into the new rosters, let’s take a look at where the outgoing transfers from Pitt, Duquesne, and Robert Morris ended up.

PITT

Federiko Federiko – Texas Tech

The former Pitt big man entered the portal after two years with the Panthers. He ended up in the Big 12 with Grant McCasland’s Texas Tech Red Raiders. Federiko is the lone player on the list to transfer out of Western PA to another high-major program.

William Jeffress – Louisiana Tech

Jeffress, a Pitt graduate, joined the Bulldogs after spending a good amount of time in the portal this spring. He started 22 games for the Panthers over his career in the Steel City.

DUQUESNE

Andy Barba – Case Western Reserve

Barba, an Ohio native, joined D3 Case Western after wrapping up his career on the Bluff.

Kailon Nicholls – Northern Illinois

The Canadian guard spent just one season with the Dukes, appearing in nine games. He now joins the MAC with Northern Illinois to play in Dekalb, Illinois.

ROBERT MORRIS

TJ Wainwright – Long Beach State

Wainwright averaged ten points per game last year for the Colonials and will now head back to the West Coast.

Ben Krystkowiak – Corban (NAIA)

Krystkowiak recently committed to Corban University, an NAIA program in Salem, Oregon.

Jackson Last – Chaminade (D2)

Last spent the last two seasons with RMU, starting 52 games for the Colonials. He will now play his home games in Hawaii.

Josh Corbin – UNC Wilmington

Corbin led the Colonials shooting efforts with a team-high 87 three pointers a season ago.

Stephaun Walker – Old Dominion

Walker averaged 9.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for RMU last season.

Alfredo Boglio – Unknown

Boglio has not posted any commitment information regarding his recruitment.
