USA TODAY Sports

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Atlantic Coast Conference 2024 Jim Tatum Award winner Taylor Morin of Wake Forest headlines the 2024 All-ACC Academic Football Team, announced Friday by the league office.

All 17 ACC Football member institutions were represented on the team. Duke led all schools with 40 selections, followed by Stanford (38), Wake Forest (35), Clemson (31) and Florida State (30).

In addition to Morin earning his fifth All-ACC Academic Team recognition, Florida State’s Ryan Fitzgerald and Robert Scott Jr. both became four-time honorees. A total of 51 other football student-athletes garnered their third ACC All-Academic Team selection.

A total of 59 members of the All-ACC Academic Football Team also earned some form of all-conference recognition – including seven first-team All-ACC selections, 11 second-team honorees, nine third-team recipients and 32 honorable mention picks.

Five All-ACC Academic Team selections were also recognized as 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Americans following the fall season in Elic Ayomanor of Stanford (first team), Bruno Fina of Duke (second team), Henry Freer of Georgia Tech (second team), Jonathan McGill of SMU (second team) and Craig Woodson of California (second team).

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests during the season.
