With National Signing Day complete, the 2025 cycle of college football recruiting has come to an end. One of the surprising teams in this year's cycle are the Auburn Tigers, who finished with the sixth-ranked class in the country, according to  247 Sports.

Auburn capped off their season with another top ten recruiting class, a back-to-back feat they haven't seen since 2020. This year's class is headlined by five-star defensive lineman Malik Autry, who is ranked as the fourth-best player at his position in the class. The Tigers also welcome Duece Knight, the sixth-best quarterback in the class according to 247 Sports.

This stellar recruiting class comes at the perfect time for Auburn as they try to recover from last season's 5-7 record in the SEC.

Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze has his work cut out for him as he prepares his team for the 2025 season after losing 14 players to the transfer portal. Thus far he has navigated the offseason well, bringing in 18 transfers to go along with his top ten recruiting class.

Auburn's 5-7 record last season was their fourth straight losing season, but there is reason for optimism for the Tigers heading into the 2025 season. Specifically, the brightest spot on the team is Oklahoma transfer Jackson Arnold

Arnold led the Sooners to a 6-6 record last season, but showed flashes of being a capable dual threat, racking up 444 rushing yards to go along with 1,421 passing yards throughout the season. Freeze's offense should be more dynamic as the Tigers fight for contention in the SEC.
