The son of an NFL legend has officially chosen a new school.
Kennedy Urlacher, the son of former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, told Hayes Fawcett of On3 on Saturday that he has committed to USC. Urlacher was previously with Notre Dame but entered the transfer portal earlier this week.

Urlacher is a 5-foot-11, 200-pound safety who was a four-star recruit out of high school. He played at Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona.
Urlacher appeared in 14 games as a freshman at Notre Dame last season. He recorded 12 total tackles (one for a loss), a fumble recovery and a pass defended. He played mostly on special teams.
Brian Urlacher was an eight-time Pro Bowl linebacker for the Bears. He was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2005. The elder Urlacher is known for being one of the best defensive players in NFL history and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
