'Freak' Ashton Jeanty Dunking Video Going Viral

It's hard to say an NFL Draft prospect who is an expected to be a top 10 pick is "slept on", but that is just how good of an athlete Ashton Jeanty is.

A video is going viral on social media of the Boise State running back dunking a basketball with ease, to which FOX reporter Jordan Schultz calls Jeanty a "freak athlete".

That checks out. See for yourself below.

Reminder: Jeanty is listed at 5-8 and a half, and 211 pounds.

Not only does he use that frame to bounce off would-be tacklers and speed through an opposing defense, he has bounce on the hardwood too.

Schultz spoke with Colin Cowherd about how Jeanty's athleticism will make him a Day 1 baller in the NFL ... but that he may even be "slept on" because he isn't being valued any higher in the Draft.

He's expected to go anywhere between picks No. 5-10 - with the Dallas Cowboys at No. 12 who would love for him to drop a bit further ...

Still, this projection undermines Jeanty's other-worldly physique.

"I had a GM tell me a couple days ago that Ashton Jeanty is being slept on," Schultz said. "I said, what do you mean? He’s going to be a top-five, top-ten pick. He said, no, you don’t understand. This guy is a superstar."

Last season, on his way to becoming the Heisman Trophy runner-up, Jeanty registered 2,601 rushing yards on a staggering 347 carries and 7.0 yards per carry.

He also doesn't believe he will experience a drop off, either. Jeanty has his eyes set on a historic rookie season ... wherever he plays.

We doubt he'll rise any higher up team's big boards, with generational talents Cam Ward and Travis Hunter also available, but Jeanty has his case for being the Draft's most gifted physical specimen.

Showing off the skills on a basketball court is the latest proof he shouldn't be "slept on".
